Today the challenge is a film I would love to see on a big screen. Okay, for me, this is all about cinematography so it has to be about scenery, I’m thinking.
So many classic movies came to mind: Out of Africa, The Titanic, The Abyss, The Wizard of Oz, The Eiger Sanction, Where Eagles Dare, and most of the Star Wars movies.
For me, I think I would love to see a movie filmed in a place I am not likely to go given the current state of the world. I settled on “Seven Years in Tibet”. The trailer gives you a good example why.
I decided to take on this challenge for July after reading about it from SandmanJazz. Check out his blog and his entry for the seventh day of the challenge. Maybe even join in!
At the risk of being non-PC, I would like to see Gone With the Wind.

I never got to see ‘There Will Be Blood’ on a big screen, only on DVD. It is so beautifully photographed, I would have liked to have seen it on a huge screen.
Best wishes, Pete.

When I was in college we went to see “Goldfinger” and the only seats were in the front row. I have never recovered from seeing that gold painted body on the giant screen. I would like to see “Far From the Madding Crowd” by Hardy again in full screen.

I hate the front rows in the theater, Elizabeth.
