I’ll have to remember this the next time I hike with our daughter.

When hiking, especially in scenic areas, taking a moment to take it all in is definitely a good idea! I would do it just to keep up!

Every day that I am out walking with Ollie, I always take time to sit on a bench or fallen tree trunk. Not so much to rest, but to listen to the sounds of nature around me. In doing so, I get a rest. Win-win.
Best wishes, Pete.

I agree, Pete. It is a win win. I was on the phone making a doctor’s appointment and the receptionist was so happy because she could hear the birds in the background. Nature has such a calming influence.

A wise saying, Maggie. Too often we fail to rest properly.

Golly, what a great reminder especially for those of us who always seem to have ‘what’s next’ on our minds. Thank you, Maggie! 💕
