It is again time to exercise my creativity and stretch the truth a little! Fibbing Friday is hosted by Di this week over at her blog Pensitivity. The questions this week inspired me so let’s see how it goes.
1. What is a humdinger?
It is a musical instrument akin to a harmonica. Instead of blowing into it, you hum into it.
2. What is Hopscotch?
Hopscotch is a drinking game played in bars across Scotland. You take shots of Scotch, hopping from bar to bar until you cannot hop any more.
3. What is Boeuf Bourguignon?
This is the name of a chain of gyms where only Muscle Heads hang out.
4. What is a Lady In Waiting?
A lady standing cross-legged in line at the ladies restroom during a matinee hoping to make it inside the bathroom before the house lights are dimmed signaling the second act.
5. What is a lupin?
The tool used to loop in the yarn when making a latch hook rug.
6. What is brimstone?
Material used to pave the road to hell.
7. What is a Lady’s Slipper?
Also known as The Cinderella Effect, any move a woman makes to entice a man to pursue her no matter the cost.
8. How long can a snail sleep?
In a shell, 24 hours in a stretch. Out of the shell, the sun wakes them at dawn.
9. Up to 1 trillion germs can be found on which part of the body?
Any part without an application of hand sanitizer.
10. What is a Puffling?
Smoke break at a cigar factory.
