What the Heart Knows

A poetry kind of morning.

What the Heart Knows

Tears flow like rain
Drop by drop
…Until an ocean appears

We cast away worries
And reel in memories
…The heart remembers

We are on the sidelines
Watching and waiting
…Powerless to to stop the tide

Fueled by tears

Dropping one by one

      1. 🙂 🙂 I think we use different dictionairies, Maggie.
        fuel
        /fjuː(ə)l/
        Learn to pronounce
        verb
past tense: fuelled; past participle: fuelled
        1.
supply or power (an industrial plant, vehicle, or machine) with fuel.
“power stations fuelled by low-grade coal”
        Similar:

        charge
        fire
        stoke up
        supply with fuel
        2.
