It seemed like a good idea to do my laundry on rainy days, but discovered I don’t enjoy doing laundry that often!
It’s raining again today. The plants are loving it, but it has put a damper on my outdoor activities. One might think this is a cruel April Fool’s joke that our temps are going to drop back into the low 30° degree range over the next few days. No garden planting yet!
One liner Wednesday is brought to us each week by the lovely Linda Hill. Please visit Linda’s blog to read the rules, read other one liners, and possibly join in the fun!
I hope it doesn’t get too terribly cold, Maggie. Hugs on the wing!

Predictions are for cooler weather tonight – freeze warnings. The wind has been howling all night which delivered a power outage but we are back in business now. Hope you are well, Teagan.

Wind is really fierce here. I understand how worrying that can be. All’s well, though. Hugs.

Those late cold snaps are the worst. Hope you find a way to enjoy those rainy days. 😉

It is all nurturing the trees. I am content to sit back and watch.

Love the one-liner, today, Maggie. You can’t rush the season. Well, you can, but…

Today’s weather and the prediction for this evening prove you right, Dan. Spring is on its own schedule it seems.

We are also forecast for temperatures to plummet over the Easter weekend. Many parts of England are expecting snow too. Always happens on public holidays! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Some of the more northern areas had snow overnight. It is still very windy and tonight will be rather chilly with a freeze warning. Spring is taking a pause.

It’s the same here. Warm and windy turned to cold for a few days. As for the laundry, better that than ironing!

I solved my ironing problem by donating my ironing board! 😂 It is the best excuse ever for not ironing.

A rainy day certainly precludes hanging the laundry on the clothesline…

It does indeed, but this windy weather we are having would have dried the clothes rather quickly!

Wow. I think that is what we have had all year so far.

I suppose that is why it is so green and lush here. Plants love water.

Makes sense. I sadly do not enjoy an all cactus landscape so I water.
