One Liner Wednesday – A New Day in America

HOPE SMILES FROM THE THRESHOLD OF THE YEAR TO COME, WHISPERING ‘IT WILL BE HAPPIER’
Alfred Lord Tennyson

Hope.

As we enter today, we are a nation divided. It will take work and perseverance to being us together. We are a nation grieving the loss of over 400,000 of our citizens to the pandemic. It has broken us in ways we could never have imagined.

I pray for a peaceful transition of power and a nation that wants to heal the divide.

Without hope, we have nothing.

One Liner Wednesday is brought to us each week by Linda Hill. Check out Linda’s blog to see what others have to say with just one line.

  1. Well one of my hopes came true today. And I feel my hope to conquer COVID will happen soon. As far as my hope for Unity, I am afraid it won’t happen as long as Hate controls so much of our land/

  2. Maggie, I’m commenting on one of your earlier posts. Girl, you’ve gone and done it now! I spent Tuesday afternoon binge-watching THE DETECTORISTS! What rollicking fun! I was intrigued from the beginning, but the moment the heads of Simon and Garfunkel appeared above the rise, I was completely hooked! Feeling groovy in Indiana!
