Thank You Followers

Thank you

Today I noticed my followers rolled over the 800 mark. While I know not all those followers are ‘real’ there are many who are faithful readers and commenters. It is humbling to share my thoughts and be heard and responded to in this great void of silence brought on by the pandemic we are living through. Never in my lifetime has the entire world experienced such a devastating event simultaneously. I hope it might reflect a deeper understanding of our shared humanity.

I thank you. For your readership, your comments, and your engaging and thoughtful posts as well. I am proud to be a part of a community that enriches my life in so many ways.

  1. It is my pleasure to follow your interesting blog, Maggie. Well done on your new follower totals. Like you, I know many are not real. I had four of those already today. Two companies selling online drugs, a man who wanted me to pay him to increase traffic on my blog, and a religious person who wanted to preach about God.
But the real followers make it all worthwhile, don’t they? 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. It is all part of the process I suppose, Pete. Their comments never make it on my blog, but they must get some credence just having their URL appear somewhere.

  2. It feels nice being popular and if that is done on a website with bloggers who are mostly writers, that says something about the effort that you put into your posts. Who hoo, good for you.

  4. I commented more when I had access to my WordPress account. Since everything reset on my end, I don’t comment as much anymore, and it doesn’t look like I’m missing much on the WP front anyway.

Popping in to say hello, and that I’m still here, following along in the shadows. 😉

      1. Not unless you’re telepathic. 😉 Forgot my password & ran out of cash to support my website a while back. Will reactivate my website when I’m ready to restart the business end of things.

        1. Well, I am not telepathic, so I guess I cannot help. I do hope the budgetary constraints free up soon. Sending you all good wishes.

  5. I especially appreciate your blog because it covers so many different topics. I truly enjoyed getting to learn and read about your daughter through your posts about her. I also love the various challenges you attempt and report about.
