InkTober Day 27 – Music

The prompt today is music. The breeze provides my music every day.

Share Your World – October 26, 2020

C7D018A9-43FB-4E9D-B21D-A8E1035F7F25Melanie has her neighborhood over at  Sparks of a Combustible Mind all decked out in Halloween decor. It was so festive I thought I would play along and Share My World today.

Here are the questions:

What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top of?

First let me say I am not a fan of heights. Especially manmade heights. I trust Mother Nature a lot more than mankind. So, I suppose the tallest building was the Montreal Tower (574 ft) in the Olympic Village. The second highest would have been the Skylon Tower (520 ft) at Niagara Falls (it towers 764 ft above the base of the falls). I do not like heights so these were big steps for me.

What do you do to keep fit?

Normally I walk, but I have been lethargic and uninspired during Covid.

What’s your jack-o-lantern carved to look like?

Living WAY OUT in the country and in quarantine we have no jack-o-lantern. 🎃 But if I had one it would be a most traditional face – not a new age face.

Do you have hope or have you lost it?

I always have hope. I could not live without it. Hope has saved me so many times in my life.

GRATITUDE QUESTION:

Feel free to share something you’re grateful for!  Images and photos or poems, essays or free writing (stream of consciousness) pieces are all acceptable!  AND you don’t have to do this part, it’s always optional!

Please do not say you have nothing to be grateful for when a tree bursts with autumn color just outside your window.  Remember that friend you chatted with today? What a gift they are in these difficult times. Did you ever notice how constant the skies and the stars are? I still gaze at the same stars my mother saw when she was a little girl.

Today I am especially grateful for this blogging community.
