InkTober – Day 3 – Bulky

This one was difficult for many reasons. I will summarize my InkTober experience at the end of the month. For now, my version of bulky.

SoCS – Old Noodle

Stream of Consciousness Saturday is brought to you every week by Linda Hill. Check out her blog for the rules and the contribution of other bloggers.

This week’s prompt:

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “new/old.” Use either or both of the words “new and old” any way you’d like. Bonus points for starting and ending with either one. Have fun!

Children are the best. They pick up on everything. When our granddaughter was just starting to crawl and walk she was like every other child. She was drawn to the tiniest little speck of anything on the floor and it went directly in her mouth.

One day, she found a dried up piece of macaroni that had fallen on the floor and her mom dashed to her and grabbed it before it made it to her mouth.

”That’s not good. It’s an old noodle”.

From that day forward, anything found on the floor was deemed an old noodle, not fit for consumption. Of course that left the door open for lots of new things to find their way into her mouth, toys, shoes, cat toys, you name it!

Sometimes I feel like an old noodle myself. 😂

I want to give a special shoutout to Linda today for the copy of her novella “The Magician’s Sire” that magically appeared in my inbox this morning! I am so excited to snuggle up and read it. You can get a free download of the novella here by simply subscribing to her newsletter. THANK YOU, LINDA!
