InkTober 2020 – Day 1 – Fish

This is my first foray into InkTober. I thought I could use some artistic inspiration. Below are the suggested prompts for the month.

All I had were a handful of Sharpies, so here you go.

  1. Hi, Maggie-
I’m doing Inktober, too, feeling quite glad to do so. An exercise that I did yesterday reminded me of how much I enjoyed doing drawings as a child and teenager, seemingly freeing me of my tiptoeing back into art journey of the last decade.

I’m not paying any attention to the prompts (I’ve realized that I’m totally not a “prompt” person, and will just respond to things I see in the natural world.

That said, I love your fish!

    1. Lisa, I am loving your sketches. Drawing the plant kingdom can be quite the exercise in preciseness. I am not sure I will make the entire month of October, but I think it is easier than writing a novel in 30 days.
