Writing Challenge Invitation – #FUN20083

Well, this will be my second attempt at a writing challenge invitation. I had one person respond last week, so that’s enough to get me to offer up another challenge this week.

The instructions are as follows:

  1. Write an uplifting or funny short piece. The goal is to lift spirits.
  2. Use the hashtag #FUN20083 (today’s Julian date)
  3. Pingback to this post or leave a link in the comments to share your stories here. (If you have never commented on my blog, links will need to be approved.)
  4. Below you will find several ‘gifts’. Choose one or several to include in your writing. You must choose at least one.
  5. Have fun!

Number #1

Use this photo as inspiration. You are welcome to save it and include it if you so desire.

Number #2

Use this line somewhere in your story.

“I told you I don’t need your help, Bozo.”

Number #3.

Use one or all of these objects in your story.

A dented can of beans, a dentist, or a marching band.

    1. Just use the phrase FUN20083 as a tag or put it in the title of your post. It is a phrase used to find a post by searching. (# is known as a hashtag and followed by a search term).

      1. I just posted my story on I used the hash tag in the title! I was inspired by the photo of the stone table, though I did not post the photo in the story itself it inspired me to write about a summer day spent in the pool and around a stone table. Let me know what you think! I could definitely use pointers in my writing!
