Thank you, Nicholas. That helps. I was not sure how to filter the most current blogs. I have so much to learn.

Don’t worry. I’ve been doing this for over 25 years and I still despair at how much I have to learn 😀

Cathy Cade, an English author who has a post Writing Wrinkles posts a great deal about the notes and bolts of self publishing.

Thanks for the mention, both of you. My related experiences – the early ones especially – can be described as the blind leading the short-sighted, but we learn from our mistakes. Give it a go.
And good luck…

I don’t have any advice, but appreciate the comments, as sorting through my posts to do something with seems to be rising to the surface now, looking at a new year ahead.

Linda G. Hill and Craig Boyack are the ones I know of — Craig is “Entertaining Stories” and posts also at “Story Empire” which is a writing site.

Hi Maggie, There’s a post on my blog about publishing an “old school” publishing world and what was involved in my pumpkin cookbook. It came out the first time around 1976. WOW! Can anyone actually be THAT old? Yes, it is true, and a little entertaining. I think the first post about the new edition, which contained information about the new edition tells how it was when I got started.

How old is the post, Anne? I could not find a search box on your blog to look for it.
