The WordPress Gremlins ate a post I have been working on for weeks. It had 15 saved drafts. Today I published it and it has gone into oblivion. Not in the trash folder, not in drafts and certainly not in published.
I have no desire to write in Word and copy and paste and deal with reformatting.
I do not have the energy to re-write the post. I do not think I could capture the essence of this very sensitive topic.
This is crap.
Oh no! I’m sorry! I have dealt with similar issues!

Jessy, it looks like it was published with the date when I started the draft months ago. All fixed now.

I just received When Women Choose via email — might that have been the post?

It was, Lisa. Did it magically show up?

I got When Women Choose, and composed an exceptionally long comment. Maybe check your Spam folder? I hate it when that happens, and really feel for you, Maggie.
Best wishes, Pete.

Hi, Pete. Looks like WordPress published the post with an August date. I edited it and it has come up to the proper place and your comment is intact.

Hi, Maggie- I just followed the link from my email and noticed the publish date became 8/15/2019, so perhaps it published on the original first draft date? Curious.

That was it, Lisa! Thank you for paying attention to details. I have found the post and adjusted the date. How strange.

Check back, it might have posted on the date that you originally created the post. So essentially back in time.

Wow you must have polished that post with 15 drafts but take heart something’s we polish for a lifetime often loose their shine and you will rise from the setback.

I think I just paused a lot. Time and reflection are worthy companions.

It’s good to read that your post seems to have done some time travel, but isn’t missing. I’m catching-up on reading. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
