I’m so dizzy, my head is spinning
Like a whirlpool, it never ends.
Vertigo hit again last night. I spent the day sleeping off the meds I took to counteract the dizziness. Not much blogging for me today.

That old song took me back.
But I also woke up in the dark with vertigo last night, after mistakenly turning over onto my back whilst asleep.
I had to jump out of bed and stand bolt upright, to make the sensation go away. All the while I had to keep telling myself, ‘It’s just the vertigo’.
Best wishes, Pete.

It is awful, Pete, but you are right. At least we know what it is. It is so unnerving not to be in control of our bodies. Hope you are feeling better.

I was a fan, too, but not a huge fan.

Old songs like this always help. I hope there’s a smooth sailing song on the way.

I had three days of that last week. It seems to have started when I jumped up from a floor exercise. My sympathy.

Was this the first time you had it, Elizabeth? It is quite unsettling.

No. I first had it after my daughter was born, 44 years ago. I have had it very occasionally since.
