Expect the Unexpected

Day 344

Last night we made an emergency trip to the hospital. My daughter was admitted. I slept off and on in the chair beside her as she finally got some much needed sleep. We are in a great facility.

We had breakfast which was good, but coffee was questionable. Luckily there is a Starbucks downstairs.

So more waiting but much relieved we are where we need to be. I just want her to be ok.

Still hoping the storm stays out to sea.

  1. Sometimes it’s enough to know that someone you love is getting the care they need. Prayers for you and your daughter.

Dorian looks like a real monster. I hope it stays offshore long enough for people to find shelter.

    1. She is receiving excellent care, Pete. That is all that matters right now. Yes, Starbucks is not always great but it was much better than the watered down hospital version.
