I grew up on commercials. We knew all the jingles for all the commercials even if the product never entered our home. Such is the case of Fab detergent. My family used some product purchased from the Jewel Tea salesman or maybe Duz detergent so we could collect golden wheat dinnerware packed in the box.
And of course that reminds me of buying oatmeal that had glasses packed inside. Of course it was a fabulous way for newlyweds to get a set of dishes — even though it took a long time!
And now a little Fab commercial to see if you remember the jingle! They surely had the most interesting collection of commercials through the years, but this is the jingle I remember.
