Blogger’s Block

Day 180

Is there such a thing as blogger’s block? If so, I may have it tonight. I am tired and do not have anything much on my mind.

I woke early again this morning. I was able to go back to sleep until it was time to get up for meditation. It was cold this morning so I was wrapped in a blanket as I sat down and closed my eyes. I might have gotten 15 minutes in before I fell asleep. So, meditation was a bust this morning.

Hubby and I managed a quick two mile walk but it was very chilly. We walk a lot faster when it is cold outside.

I went to the grocery store and ran some errands. When I returned, I cooked a pot of black eyed peas I soaked overnight. Once cooked, I made cornbread in my cast iron skillet and chopped onions to top it off. It was a hearty meal for a cool evening.

There is a chance of snow for some of the surrounding communities tomorrow. I doubt we will get any snow and whatever may fall will melt off rapidly. I am ready for a few consistent days of warm weather.

With those little tidbits, I will say goodnight and try for a good night of sleep.

  1. I’ve found that doing a daily post seems definitely challenging at times, on days when nothing really seems to be obvious to write about — usually on days that I’m really tired. So I definitely believe that blogger’s block could be a thing! But simply writing something is about the discipline of that daily practice, I guess, and for now, I’m feeling committed to that.

    1. I agree Lisa. Last night was the first day I almost forgot to blog. I knew I wanted to write something but with nothing specific on my mind it was challenging.
