Day 156
Linda’s SoCS prompt for today is: “abash/a bash/bash.” Use “abash,” or “bash” as a noun or a verb. Bonus points if you manage all three. Have fun!
I do not understand people who belittle others. I witnessed this well-to-do woman degrade the cashier trying to abash her in any way possible.
That was until the manager stepped in. The look she gave him showed she had felt a similar embarrassment. Those types of people cannot stand it when the tables are turned.
She left her groceries in the cart and she exited so quickly I worried she might bash the door down getting out of there.
The manager wheeled her cart filled with beer and snacks back into the store. She must have been planning quite a bash with all that alcohol!

It’s sad and wrong when people take their issues out on people providing a service. I’m glad he manager stepped in.

I’ve been on the receiving end of that kind of bashing. No fun at all!

Linda, so have I. It is humiliating and unnecessary.

:O I wonder if her guests know what kind of person she is at the store.
